I think I might have figured my ONE of my parents secrets:

Reading Marathon

Today we had this thing at school called “Reading Marathon”. You would think it’s a race of reading… EHHHHH!

THE WHOLE DAY WAS READING EXEPT FOR MATH!

We could also do “extra time” activites, and World Math 2010 which I talked about in the last blog post: http://www.brycemckenney.com/?p=312

World Math Day 2010

Did you know there’s such thing as “Math Day”? It is on March 3, and I think it started around 2006…ish. http://worldmathsday.com/. It has kids 1st grade-7th grade or something like that, but adults can play too! AND IT’S FREE!

Randomness

I don’t really know if “Randomness” is a word, but who cares? So, the “randomness” is, if you have any ?’s about me, go ahead and ask ?’s! (on the comments)

WHY AM I DOING THIS?

I do not know. :)

Daddy

First of all, let’s give a round of applause to Grandma, because she gave me this idea. I am celebrating my dad’s birthday by talking good things about him:

Daddy,

I love you.

You are all that fits in my heart. You are the humor inside of me, the love inside of me, you are everything. We/I both have good memories. For instance:

dad

Remember that? Christmas 2009.

Not everybody I know has a dad like me. I don’t know any dad’s who play the Wii, and dance. I don’t know any dad’s who gives me basketball drills usually every weekend. I don’t know any dad’s who takes care of their child(ren) as well as you do. I don’t know any dad’s who  All of the time says “I love you”. I don’t know any dad’s who go on hikes with me a lot.  See what I mean?  There are hardly ANY parents I know, who loves me as much as you do, cares as much as I do, and goes on hikes as much as you do.

THANK YOU, DADDY! I LOVE YOU!

iPad

I just listened to one of the longest videos in my life. I’m not saying it was bad, because it got convincing! The iPad is the most AMAZING thing I have ever seen. I am gonna start saving up for it. (Unless Apple gives my one for cheap…proly not:)) I am amazed mostly because it’s 9.56″ tall, and 7.45″ wide. And it’s only 1.5 lbs.! The depth is 0.5″. Just sayin’!

Meaness Is Around the World

So I think it was yesterday when Jayden said this, but he came home saying something like “Mommy, I don’t wanna go to school tomorrow because the people at my table are mean to me.” *WOW.* First of all, Jayden has never said ANYTHING about kids being mean. Maybe a few times to me, and I told him he should tell mommy. See, totally off subject here, but I’m being a GOOD brother. And OF COURSE Jayden dosen’t listen. He never listens to a good brother like ME. Anyways, he came home yesterday and told mommy that people were being mean to him, and then my mom had this big talk with Jayden, blah blah blah. So then I saw him crying and then I asked what was wrong, then my mom started talking to him AGAIN, so I just went in my room, lied down, and listened to my iPod.

The next day, my mom sent a note to Mrs. Lilly (Jayden’s teacher) and talked about what happened, and guess what? Mrs. Lilly was nice enough to have everybody at Jayden’s table write an apology note TO Jayden. And today he came home and my mom asked how his was and he said “”Great!”

Canadian Bacon

Did you know I just

LOVE

Canadian bacon? I’ve started cooking them every morning and then saying “YUMMMMMMMMMMYYYY”. I wonder who envented them. Obviously,  from some sort of Canadian guy. I just wanted to say it because it’s very true; I LOVE… well… any kind of bacon, actually.

Ok, Christmas. Jesus’s birth. That right there is the true meaning of Christmas. Notice how the word “Christmas” has the root word of ”Christ” in it? I realized not too long ago that I am very blessed by God. I’m giving Christmas cards to the fam.

Macy’s birthday is coming!!!!

Oh my gosh!!   I can’t wait!!!    Macy’s birthday!!!!

Normally I wouldn’t be so excited, but this is my cousins birthday coming up. This is her family:

The bottom right hand corner is Macy.

The bottom right hand corner is Macy.

Man, I just love her. She’s turning 7. I remember when she was younger, when I hit myself, she would just crack up like a laughing Hyena.

The chocolate pie/good news

I’m not going to get into the whole pie thing yet, because I’ve got some good news.  At school, at math, we go into a 2-5 min. group thing where we talk about math. Well, I don’t have to do that anymore, since I’m independent. The way you get independent, is by getting three test’s with 90% or higher, in a row. And thats what I did. 98% on all three tests.

Now maybe I should get to the pie now. It is kinda short.

So, jayden was getting a piece of pie from the top shelf of the fridge, and it slipped out of his hand. And then he screamed.
